45 Bangsamoro women leaders from across the BARMM came together last May 5-6, 2023, in Opol, Misamis Oriental for a two-day writeshop on "Making HerStories Count: Bangsamoro Women on Peace, Human Rights, and Governance." The event was held in partnership with the Philippine Muslim Women Council and was made possible through the support of the Australian Embassy.

Twelve Indigenous Peoples (IP) Champions, who underwent training and mentorship under the "Advancing Indigenous Peoples' Rights in the Philippines" project by the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA) and the Institute for Autonomy and Governance (IAG), recently converged in Baguio City to seek government support for their advocacy plans and proposed initiatives.
