The Institute for Autonomy and Governance (IAG) and the Unilab Center for Health Policy signed an agreement on March 13, 2025, to collaborate on institutionalizing programs for universal health care (UHC) in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). The partnership aims to improve the lives of Bangsamoro people through better local governance and efficient basic services.

The collaboration will combine IAG's governance expertise with Unilab's health policy experience to create innovative and responsive healthcare platforms. Both organizations emphasized their commitment to addressing the region's unique health challenges.

The event also marked a separate partnership between Unilab Education and Notre Dame University in Cotabato City, Notre Dame of Midsayap College, and Notre Dame of Jolo College, focusing on educational opportunities in the region.

These partnerships signify a joint effort to enhance health outcomes and well-being in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region through collaborative initiatives in governance, health policy, and education.
