The Institute for Autonomy and Governance (IAG) is proud to convene the international conference After the Peace Agreements: The Bangsamoro and Beyond, bringing together over 200 participants from government, civil society, academe, media, and international partners.
To be held from 17–19 November 2025 at Dusit Thani Manila in Makati City, the conference will explore the complex realities of post-conflict transitions and transformative governance across the Global South. Drawing comparative insights from peace processes in Asia, Africa, and Latin America, the event aims to generate actionable recommendations, strengthen multi-sectoral networks, and reaffirm commitments to inclusive, sustainable peace.
Plenary sessions, panel discussions, and breakout dialogues will reflect on the Bangsamoro experience and its relevance to other regions navigating autonomy and identity-based conflicts. Topics include institutional reform, participatory governance, and the role of marginalized communities in peace implementation.
Livestream Access
To ensure broad participation, the full conference will be livestreamed. Audiences are encouraged to bookmark and follow the Facebook page of IAG for real-time updates and access to the sessions.
