The Institute for Autonomy and Governance (IAG) congratulated its two youth leaders in Wao, Lanao del Sur, for successfully conducting a youth camp on the last weekend of August. The event brought together a diverse group of young people who immersed themselves in vibrant cultural traditions, including dances, music, cuisine, arts, and narratives. This year, 13 trained young Indigenous leaders, supported by the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Philippines Office, conducted these youth camps as part of their leadership training. These activities highlight the importance of promoting diversity and inclusivity in society and emphasize the need to protect and preserve the cultural heritage of Indigenous Peoples for future generations.
