IAG confirms today the appearance of Cagayan de Oro Representative Rufus Rodriguez in Thursday’s (October 23) town hall meeting on emerging key issues on the proposed Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL).

Rep. Rodriguez chairs the ad hoc committee deliberating on the BBL at the House of Representatives.

The town hall meeting comes on the sidelines of the House committee’s scheduled visit in south-central Mindanao to hear from the public views and insights on the basic law that will establish the Bangsamoro political entity in lieu of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM).

On October 22 to 24, the BBL committee will conduct a series of public consultations in Maguindanao, Sultan Kudarat, South Cotabato and General Santos City.
