As Congress began discussions on the Bangsamoro bill for its swift passage into law, the Government of the Philippines, Moro Islamic Liberation Front, and  Bangsamoro Transition Commission spoke in unison that the future Bangsamoro will exercise genuine autonomy within the flexibilities of the Philippine Constitution.

Bangsamoro Transition Commission Chair Mohagher Iqbal emphasized the importance of establishing the Bangsamoro during a Senate briefing Tuesday on the provisions of the draft Bangsamoro Basic Law, recently filed as Senate Bill 2408.
