The Department of the Interior and Local Government in partnership with IAG conducted a consultation and dialogue with BARMM LGUs on July 15 in Manila. 

Federalism, Bangsamoro, Security and Martial Law will be the main order of business when Kusog Mindanaw convenes for its annual conference in Davao City on July 10 to 12.

IAG has partnered with the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA) to bring to the Philippines for the first time the Indigenous Peoples’ Constitutional Assessment  Tool (IPCAT) to help IP leaders deepen their understanding of how the current legal regime promotes indigenous rights.

Member parliamentarians of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority  Ad hoc Committee on Administrative Code are set to undergo a learning session and workshop aimed to equip them with knowledge and skills in drafting the rules for organizing the BARMM parliamentary government.

IAG, through its DELACSE Bangsamoro project, will be bringing together some members of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority, key officials from national government agencies, civil society organizations (CSOs), and policy think-tanks at a forum on July 19 in Makati City to discuss the key issues confronting the successful transition to the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
